A damaged or disabled body part cannot be healed with the use of a medkit. 
These body parts have got their own health score. This total health value is made up of different body parts.
Each unit in the game has a total health value. This will allow the soldier you placed at the highest point to easily spot enemies from far away. Using the mouse wheel control, find the highest point and send a soldier to this point. There is a control that uses the mouse wheel to scroll up to different floor levels in the game. The player can protect soldiers by making the soldiers enter the Scarab. It does, however, take up additional space however, but its protection and long-range arsenal make it worth it. 
A Scarab vehicle is the most helpful to build as early in the game as possible.
